I was running on the treadmill at my local gym when a new mother hopped onto the treadmill next to me. Much to my surprise she was holding her baby. I asked her why she was carrying that new baby on a treadmill. She said she couldn’t bear to part with her little one, yet still wanted to get a workout in. After about ten minutes she was extremely tired and her baby was crying. Now what? Well within a few days I saw her again. This time she wasn’t at the gym. She was running outside the gym. She was jogging behind her nice, new jogging stroller. Mom was happier and her baby was happy too.

I have had several moms e-mail and ask “Is a jogging stroller right for me?” Well there are a few factors to consider.

First, if you prefer to run on the treadmill at the gym then you probably won’t need a jogging stroller. However, if you are like me and enjoy running outside and spending time with your baby then a jogging stroller is the best way to go.

When you choose to buy a jogging stroller don’t forget important safety features like a hand brake and wheel locks for easy stopping, safety belts and the five point harness. Your child’s safety should always come first. The five point harness is great for toddlers and small children.

Also consider your child’s comfort. You may want to look into a reclining seat and a canopy. It is also a good idea to wait until your child is holding his or her head up and sitting independently before using the jogging stroller. However, there are safety products you can buy if you would like to use your jogging stroller sooner.

When we’re running in cool or cold weather, we may be hot or comfortable in minimal clothing, but a child is not doing the exercise. Don’t forget to dress your little one in warm clothes, especially if you’re running or walking in the wind. Short runs are best with your child. Competing while pushing your running stroller is not recommended.

I prefer a jogging stroller versus a regular stroller because I enjoy being outside. I have found that my jogging stroller makes it a lot easier to push on non-paved roads and it moves at a faster pace

A good Plano personal trainer will teach you it is possible to focus on building muscle, not bulk. Getting stronger doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to look like the Incredible Hulk. You can build strength by keeping your muscles toned and lean.

This is especially important for women who want to be fit through and through without losing their sleek physique. Many men on the other hand, want to bulk up. No matter what gender you are, you can get strong in the way you want. The key is testosterone. Ladies, you don’t have enough testosterone in your body to bulk up. It’s just not in your genes. Men, you have it. This is why building muscle is easier.

With this said, men who participate in certain types of athletics need to stay relatively lean as well. Therefore, just like the ladies, you need to focus on building muscle, not bulk.

To gain strength, it’s not necessary to focus on bulking up and a Plano personal trainer can teach you how. Again, it takes a lot of work to increase the actual size of the muscle. What you should focus on is adding strength to the lean muscles you already have. This is just another way of saying that you’re building muscle, not bulk.

Here are some ways to get the energy to jumpstart your muscle building:

* Eat mini-meals and/or increase your lean protein at your main mealtimes
* Eat snacks in between meals
* Drink pre and post workout shakes

As you begin building muscle, make sure that you take the time to learn the proper form needed when strength training. Keep your movements as controlled as possible. If you think you need assistance, hire a personal trainer.

When starting a strength-training program, it’s best to begin with light weights and low repetitions. As a general rule, you should use weights you can lift at least eight to 12 times comfortably. After the first rep, take a break for a few minutes and then begin the second repetition. If possible, start with your larger muscles first and then work your way up to the smaller ones.

Be sure to breathe while lifting. To be more specific, breathe out while doing the most strenuous part of the exercise. Avoid holding your breath, because your blood pressure can spike.

Building muscle requires resistance. Therefore, make sure the exercises are ones that will allow you to increase that resistance once you become conditioned.

Another tip in building muscle, not bulk, is alternating your strength training days. Keep up with your cardio regularly and incorporate weights when your cardio workouts aren’t so strenuous. After a challenging day of strength training, give the muscles worked at least 24 hours to recover, before working them again.

Strong muscles offer numerous benefits which can help now and in the years ahead. Building muscle, not bulk is possible. More importantly, if you begin strength training now, you are paving the way for a much healthier future. For more information check out the personal trainer Plano website.

Taking care of your body should be your number one priority on a daily basis, but when you take your body to extremes you have to go above the fold and give your body more of what it needs to mend itself.

When you exercise, for instance, you put your muscle tissues through great strain, and although the body is designed for this – so long as you don’t overwork yourself – it does need special nutrition supplementation to aid in a quick recovery.

It’s the same theory as hydrating your body with water following a long run, hard exercise routine, or perspiring on a hot day.

If you work out and are not eating right, then you may be putting your body through too much stress because it won’t have enough “building blocks” to generate the things it needs or to stimulate chemicals in the body that aid in cell repair.

Although the body is meant to be used and exercised – even taken beyond it’s limits to grow – this has to be done with respect to the nutritional benefits of eating right and keeping out foods that could be counter-productive.

Using a supplement like Stemulite Fitness Formula – which contains some prodigious nutritional supplements the body is craving for anyway, but even more so when you put it to the test in the gym – can not only keep you in fabulous health but it helps hasten up your muscles’ recuperation time.

When you buy Stemulite, you’ll find the components in this supplement also include food nutrients that help in cell repair (helping not only repair the stress caused body parts, but also boosting the immune function) as well as constituents that aid the body in generating stem cells which are how the body rejuvenates cells and just about everything.

Stem cells are the birth of all of the cells in your body. Every organ, every cell, every skin cell etc.. all started out as a stem cell. The body is constructed from them and when it needs to renew or amend itself the stem cells are where the repair materials grow.

As you get older the body makes less of these due to a variety of health problems and freewheeling lifestyles, and this makes mending the body much harder and sluggish – if there’s any repairing at all.

The Stemulite ingredients are designed to help in amping up your stem cell yield as well as including a variety of other components that have essential health benefits.

I owned my first LED flashlight almost nine years ago. It was a small keychain powered by a button-cell battery. Since that time, LED flashlights have developed further and new models have more luminous lights using more LEDs.

Light-emitting diodes or LEDs are solid-state transistors which glow when power passes through them. However unlike incandescent lamps, there are no filaments, and no bulbs. It doesn’t burn, nor create much heat. And best of all, it uses a minuscule amount of energy.

The small wattage makes the bright LED flashlight a very green idea. It doesn’t need a large battery to create light and it doesn’t produce lots of heat either. And since it’s solid-state, it has a long life span.

Although regular LEDs come in a variety colors, the transistors used in flashlights tend toward a bluish tinge. This is not really a obstacle to having a luminous flashlight. In fact, currently there are small projectors which have LEDs for the lighting element.

The titanium LED torch are available in different sizes. There are the thumb-sized models which are smaller than a thumb, with larger units using arrays of LEDs. Using multiple LEDs, the size of a lamps can be as large as any normal flashlight, with a variety of designs. There was even one unit which has a circular field of LEDs for a flashlight bulb making the reflector unit, which also had a rectangular set on the side but without the reflector unit. This could come in handy when camping, replacing portable battery powered fluorescent lamps.

If you’ve read my other articles, you’ll already know how to drive large amounts of traffic to your blog through basic SEO practices and through creating outstanding content.

But what’s the use in all of that if you’re never getting any decent money from your blog at the end of the day?

Sure, some people do this for nothing but poops and giggles, but for the enterprising individual that I am sure you are, we must look at ways to add revenue to our blogs to actually turn blogging into a successful business.

Before we do, it’s important to realize that there’s nothing ethically or morally wrong with monetizing your blog. After all, the products you sell or ads you run from your blog will be aimed to help your readers, and it’s their decision to engage in them at the end of the day.

So, let’s look at the various ways to extract some easy money from your blog:

1. Adsense

This is the old classic that still holds true for many bloggers. Because Adsense is so easy to implement into your site, and because the quality of the ads (and relevance) is so high, there’s a lot of potential to get lots of clicks from running this simple script on your site. However, this might not exactly allow you to quit your day job just yet, unless you have a serious amount of traffic coming in to your blog daily.

2. Affiliate programs

There’s no end of products you can promote as an affiliate and in many cases (particularly with digital download sales) you can earn a significant share of the revenue, sometimes up to 100% in a few cases. It’s really just a case of finding a good affiliate network, signing up and picking products to promote that tie in with your blog content. The more you hand pick individual products to promote based on individual posts, the higher your revenue will be. Don’t just slap one product on the sidebar; you need to actively presell the product by talking about it, and the problems it solves.

3. Selling advertising space

Just like making money from Adsense ads on your blog, there needs to be substantial (and targeted) traffic to your blog in order for you to attract media buyers (the people who buy the ad space from your site). Furthermore, advertisers will want to know precise demographics of your average blog readers, such as their age, location and reading habits (how long they stay on your site and what they respond to in terms of your content and other ads). You can get this information by visiting Quantcast.com and using their scripts to gather all of this data from your blog, which you can then present to interested buyers of ad space on your blog.

These are just some of the ways to attract revenue from your site. Each of the above methods does of course require more training in order for you to reach your maximum profit potential and beyond.

No matter how brilliant your website design is, if it is hard to reach the content of your site then your site is as useful as an empty shell. Here are some tips from Rockford Web Design Pro to improve the usability of your website to ensure it serves its functions optimally.

The first method is to make sure the typography of your content is suitable. If you have large blocks of text, make sure to use CSS to space out the lines accordingly. The longer a single line of text is, the greater the line-height of each line should be. Also, make sure the font size of your text is big enough to read easily. Some sites have 10-pixel-tall text in Verdana font; while that may look neat and tidy, you have to really strain your eyes to read the actual text.

A highly recommended piece of advice from Rockford Web Design Pro is to make it easy for visitors to find content that they want on your site. If you have thousands of articles on your site and a certain visitor wants to find one single article from that pile, you have to provide a feasible means to enable visitors to do that without hassle. Be it an SQL-driven database search engine or just a glossary or index of articles that you have, providing such a feature will make sure your visitors can use your site with ease.

Ensure that your site loads fast if you do not want to lose visitors. Most internet users will leave a website if it doesn’t load completely within 15 seconds, so make sure the crème de la crème of your website is delivered to the visitors as soon as possible to retain their attention.

Last of all, test each and every link on your site before it goes online. There is nothing more effective in tarnishing your professional image than broken links, so be very careful about that. Rockford Web Design Pro is located in Rockford, IL and would be happy to offer you advice for your company, no matter how large or small you may be in size.

Communication lies at the heart of any business. You should be conversational (e.g. write using the kind of words you might use if you were having a conversation) but not as though you were having a conversation. But want to be communications in business. This meant that our conversations became very annoying for both of us.

The real trick is to write in such a way that you communicate your message without overdoing the detail. Is it true that not everyone can be trusted with information? Many people would agree, some would go so far as to say that humans cannot be trusted with information, but why? Well, information is power and if you power-up those who cannot control their integrity levels or choose not to, then in a way giving them the information makes you an accessory to their actions.

And you will have holographic projection technologies using spectral imagery. You should never write as though you were having a conversation. A little while ago I was involved in a project where we had to redevelop part of a web site. Is it true that not everyone can be trusted with information? Many people would agree, some would go so far as to say that humans cannot be trusted with information, but why? Well, information is power and if you power-up those who cannot control their integrity levels or choose not to, then in a way giving them the information makes you an accessory to their actions.

The storage capacity will be better than the library of congress even for a device the size of a mini-cell phone. Communication lies at the heart of any business. The folks who have the information do not even trust themselves with the Business and Administrative Communication they have because it’s too easy to make a mistake. If it is true that experts are people who have made lots of mistakes then I am a super expert.

Colon Cleanse 3

Recently I discovered the idea of cleaning the colon and started searching for a place that has good information about how to colon cleanse and maybe some product information. Fortunately, I came across a great website that has both; a bunch of articles on colon cleaning and even has product information.

Something that caught my attention is that they have complete product information on different colon cleanser options. I never thought it was more complicated than just making a laxative, which by the way is not recommended. There is more to colon cleaning than just going to bathroom more often. That and possibly end up hooked on laxatives in the long term.

The products listed on the site look like they are really good quality. The one that really caught my attention is dual action cleanse. It is nice to have the choices whittled down to a few reputable manufacturers. It feels like there are thousands of them out there.

So in my quest to learn about colon cleansing and colon cleansers I discovered quite a bit and averted making a poor choice in how to go about the whole procedure. The first being the laxative thing I already brought up. Another is to be on the look out for herbal solutions that are really just laxatives in disguise. The last thing I want is to think I’m are doing something sound and really just acquiring a laxative habit.

I see all the product makers hype weight loss as a side effect of a cleansing the colon. That’s not my first concern but it is a welcome side effect. Who wouldn’t appreciate a little extra weight loss in America today? If I can get fitter and lose a little weight at the same time, sign me up.

Do speak to a medical professional before you dive into anything. Be smart, your health is too important to mess around with.

Does your business website need a usability review? Use this questionnaire to find out.

How important is this to you?

  • You’re not getting enough traffic
  • Your site gets a lot of traffic, but not as high a result as you’d like
  • Performance on the site is critical (eg lives are at stake, people must make important decisions)
Your site is your company’s main way of making money.
  • You need your site to make more money in these troubled times.
  • A new site has opened up and it’s taking traffic away from you.

If you have one or more of these, the site is important enough to your business to consider a review.

How good are your existing usability practices?

  • Your design and development team didn’t include a usability expert
  • Less than 5% of your budget was spent on specific usability activities
  • You had usability experts on the team, but their recommendations weren’t fully implemented.
  • Your website designers didn’t show the designs to customers.
  • Your website designers did show designs to customers, but only at the end when it was too expensive to make any significant changes.

If you have one or more of these, your design process probably didn’t include enough usability, and you need a review.

Do you have signs of usability problems?

  • People visit the home page and then leave
  • Customers get to certain pages, then bail before you make any money from them
  • You have lower return visits than you’d like. People buy from you once, then don’t come back
  • You have a lower conversion rate than you’d like – a lot of people look around on the site but don’t buy.
  • People are putting things into the shopping cart, but not buying them.
  • There are a lot of calls to your help line or online chat system asking basic questions
  • There are a lot of hits on your help section, site map and search (more than 3% of page visits)
People need to be trained to use this site.
  • A lot of people are watching your “how to use this site” video
  • Customers have trouble finding things
  • The navigation or sequence of steps doesn’t help customers do what they come to your site to do properly
  • There’s confusing wording, pages are long and hard to scan. Text includes jargon or complex sentences
  • There is a feeling that the site is confusing
  • You’re getting a lot of customer requests for changes
  • You’re getting a steady stream of complaints, or feedback saying the site is hard to use.

If you have one or more of these, the site is very likely to have usability issues. You need a review.

Are there signs you need to assess your navigation and layout?

  • The home page has more than two major navigational schemes
  • The structure of the site reflects your organization’s structure or viewpoint—not the customer’s
  • The customer must go to more than three pages before they can see what they need
  • Menu categories are inconsistent
  • Page design is inconsistent
  • It’s hard to work out where to start.

If you have one or more of these, the site is very likely to have usability issues. You need a review.

Everyone who owns a home or is considering purchasing one should have homeowners insurance but unlike car insurance it’s not actually required by law that you carry this type of coverage. If you own your home free and clear you are not required to buy homeowners insurance however it would be wise to protect such a large investment as a home is the largest investment most of us are likely to ever make.

If you did not pay cash for your home and you do not own it free and clear and you had to obtain financing in order to purchase your home, then more than likely your lender will require that you carry a homeowners insurance policy in order for them to make the loan. Your lender will certainly want to protect their investment. If you need homeowners insurance you’ll want to do some comparison shopping to not only find the best possible price but also to find a quality company to do business with.

You can find out a lot of information about a particular insurance company by going to your state’s Department of Insurance website. You’ll be able to make sure that the insurance company you’re considering is in compliance with any local laws and you can check to see if there are any customer complaints against the company. In addition to any resources provided by your state there are also private companies that will give homeowners insurance company ratings on things like price, coverage options, financial strength of the company, customer satisfaction reviews, and more.

In addition to finding a quality company to go with you will certainly want to find an affordable price as well. You can get an online homeowners insurance quote quickly and easily by simply entering a bit of information and answering some questions. After that you just click a button and you will have quotes from a number of different companies at your fingertips.
