The property  investments market is extremely volatile at the moment. Many small investors have seen as much as ten year’s accumulated profit wiped out in one short year. Largely thanks to over-borrowing when credit was cheap.

Real Estate  investments should be seen as a long term investment only. Any wishing to get in and out quickly are at the mercy of the same market forces as any other commodity market. Values go up and down, but invariably the trend is a long, slow upward movement, with blips up and down along the way. 2006 saw the initial phase of the current decline in values of homes and this trend looks set to continue downwards for the immediate future. At some point this will change, but it is almost impossible to predict exactly when this will occur.

Some markets are seeing more volatility than others. Dubai for instance has seen drops of over 50% in value in a few months time. Some are suggesting that Dubai’s luxury home market is finished, and those wishing to invest in real estate in  Dubai should consider carefully the implications of buying real estate in a foreign land.

The long term future should be good for property prices, but the short term certainly looks bleak. As with any investment decision, bear in mand that values go up as well as down, particularly over the next 5 to 7 years as global economies struggle to come to terms with the enormous losses of the financial services sector.

No one is in a position to accurately call bottom, or predict the future price of real estate.

This is how just about every business grows. Gradually the owners test the market and devise effective marketing strategies. As the company gets more and more clients revenue starts to flow and soon the owners are balancing sales, production, human resources, and accounting.

Most small business owners eventually realize they can’t sustain that sort of hands on involvement. Whether your growing company is in retail, manufacturing, education, IT, distribution, government, or health care, the success and growth of a business requires devolving responsibility and streamlining processes to take the strain off the owners or key people.

Asset tracking, inventory tracking, stock control, and asset management are usually spoken of with reference to large companies with many assets and large inventories. Large firms have had access to sophisticated software solutions for tracking assets and inventory and most come a pretty hefty price tag. But there are asset tracking and inventory control software solutions available for small and medium-sized businesses as well.

If you are in the IT field and struggling with manual tracking and traditional spreadsheets, your company can greatly benefit from computerized asset management software. Where valuable equipment is used it is imperative to track its precise location and keep accurate data regarding ongoing maintenance and repair.

The cost of replacing expensive assets that simply go missing, or are deliberately stolen is substantially reduced when everyone in the company knows that inventory and stock control are marked with a barcode, itemized in a database, and tracked.

With a completely transparent tracking system in place, a company can maintain high standards in every area of business, including customer satisfaction, quality control, and company assets. With tighter controls in place, a entrepreneur gains the ability to confidently expand to larger markets. When this happens, the future can look very bright indeed.

It’s an undisputable fact of life: kids learn by example. Both positive and negative behaviors are often learned and reinforced by a parent’s example. What better way to teach your child a skill, like piano playing, than by demonstrating it?

Dads have an extra important role to play when motivating kids to learn music. Children who are regularly exposed to music in the home are more likely to grow up musical. Kids with parents who actually play an instrument (like piano) have an even further edge.

Dad’s role is especially important when it comes to raising a budding pianist. Young children in particular look to their fathers as role models. They see Dad as omniscient, Herculean and heroic. Kids are natural imitators and will readily and willingly engage in an activity that Dad portrays as cool or fun.

Mothers, of course, can play a significant role in helping kids get excited about piano playing. The downside of having a mother who is musical when Dad isn’t is that it can send mixed messages. Children may view piano playing as a “girl” activity, at least at home.

Motivating a child to practice regularly is a chore at the best of times. Children are often even less excited about practicing when they know that their parents don’t play. It’s tough for kids to see the value in a musical education under these circumstances.

Dads can make a difference in the musical education of their children even if they’ve never played piano before. It’s never too late to learn something new. You might not become a virtuoso, but that’s not the point. The point is to show your child that piano playing is a valuable life skill.

Dads who haven’t previously taken piano lessons can get started by doing one or more of the following:

* Taking a parent/child piano class. Some music schools offer parent/child piano lessons. Many are actually founded on the philosophy that children learn best through active parent participation. Parent/child classes teach basic musical skills but also foster healthy interaction between parent and child. Plus, dads who never took piano lessons get to learn right along with their children.

* Take a self-tutorial. Piano tutorials are available in workbook and DVD form as well as online. Tutorials are self-directed and cover the basics like note reading and chords. Online tutorials sometimes have the added advantage of access to an online mentor. Self tutorials range in price. Many are free. Most courses cost between $25 and $100 for basic foundational skills. A dad can at least learn enough this way to understand what his child is learning. He may even be able to learn from his child.

* Take formal piano lessons. Remember, it’s not too late to learn. You don’t have to take classical piano either if that’s not your forte. Find an instructor who understands what your goal is: to lead your child by example. Your instructor can design a lesson plan that helps meet those needs without scaring you with long-winded classical pieces. He or she can teach you the basics and give you a great foundation for piano playing for and with your child.

Dads who master the basics of piano playing have another advantage that non-musical dads don’t. Pianist fathers have one more way to encourage kids to turn off the television and engage in something productive and beneficial. Impromptu family concerts, father/child duets or simply making up goofy songs together fosters relaxation, bonding and emotional health.

Some people think that by not being confronted with any food choices they will have a much easier time with weight loss.

I have been struggling with weight loss for years. The same I guess for many other people out there with the same weight problem that I had.

When we get over our thirties our waist just seems to get a life of it’s own. I used to get so sick and tired of all the lack of energy and discomfort that being overweight brings. And once you have added that extra weight, you will be hard pressed to try and get rid of it. The more you try to lose, the more you will in fact add on in weight.

There has to be a fundamental change in lifestyle for weight loss to take place and to become permanent. That is why I recently went on a quest to find the best life changing diet out there. Here are the three top ones that I have found to work best.

My most effective weight loss program that did wonders for me in the end was burn-the-fat-feed-the-muscle. I loved the combination of exercise and diet that the system provides for. I literally lost inches around my waist in the first month already. My energy levels were up (I used to exercise in the mornings and my energy levels remained high throughout the day.

Another diet that had a marked difference for me was the Carb Rotation Diet Review. I have over time realized that my body does not like / tolerate carbs that well. Carbohydrates (especially bread and pasta) gives me a bloated stomach and lets me pick up weight like nothing. Therefore I tend to stay away from carbs which is very sad because I do love that pizza and pasta now and then. That is where the carb rotation diet made the worlds difference for me as I could rotate my carbs and actually have some at some times.

I started my diet quest with Weight Loss Diet Reviews and it started me on the right track to educate myself on the basics of healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle. It formed the foundation of my weight loss diets and steered me in the right direction. So I strongly suggest you get the basics of nutrition and diet under the belt before you start any weight loss diet as you will know that what is being preached is the truth or not. It helps you to distinguish between fad and gimmicks and what will really make you lose weight.

Statistics on the outcome of most diet and weight loss programs shows depressingly poor success rate, with people either never reaching their weight goals or gaining the weight back (and sometimes more) in about one year.

The thermometer is starting to plummet and the snow is forecasted for the end of the week so it’s time to take the last steps of preparing for a winter turnout. Horses are made to withstand cold weather and do quite well in 20F weather. It has been shown that horses are healthiest when they are outside for at least part of the day in comparison to being kept in the padlock all winter long.

There are a few things that do change during the winter season to make allowances for the colder weather.

Make sure that water is always available. When the temperatures dip down ice can form on the water troughs. If this is an ongoing problem where you live then an investment in a water heater or an automatic pasture waterer will do the trick. It’s always a good idea to keep an eye on how much they drink, since although they require water, their thirst drops off in the winter.

A shelter is important on cold windy days. A roof with 3 sides is the best because it covers every angle the wind can come in except the front. It looks like an oversized bus shelter. It’s essential to remember that horses will require more food during the winter months. This is because it requires more energy to stay warm. Increase the amount of hay. Since it takes longer to break down, hay endures longer which in turn provides more long term heat.

Supplements are also a high priority in the cold season. A very effective supplement is TAHITIAN NONI® Equine Essentials. It supports the equine immune system with superior antioxidant activity as well as promotes proper feed digestion and nutrient absorption. The cold winter air tends to dry out hair and skin but the TAHITIAN NONI® Equine Essentials combats this. If you have a horse with joint problems there is a sister product called TAHITIAN NONI® Equine Essentials FlexTM that has had great results.

Here is a tip for beautiful sunny days when the light is reflecting that it is almost blinding. Use the fly masks. It cuts the glare. They are also handy on really windy days especially if your horse has ever had problems with his eyes.

You have to admit there is something beautiful about horses running in the snow. As indicated at the bottom of all our web pages, these statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and these products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Warmed by the sparkling waters of the gulf, cooled by lovely breezes, and kissed by radiant sunshine, visitors are pretty much guaranteed a perfect Florida vacation on the sparkling Gulf Coast of Florida.

Start your fun holiday by pleasing the kids, and of course the other youngsters in your family, no matter what their ages. Head for the airport, or load up your van and head down the highway to Orlando where you’ll find Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, and be just an hour or so from Busch Gardens in Tampa.

Kennedy Space Center should not to be missed either. For anyone who is interested in the planets, and man’s attempt to reach out through space travel, this is the place to see. Plan on spending as much time as you can. The displays and information are extremely well presented and you will need to do it justice without rushing.

When you’ve fulfilled your tourist requirements, now is the time to explore the real Florida. The Florida that stars Mother Nature in all her glory.

One of the towns to explore and enjoy is Bonita Springs. It’s south of Fort Myers and north of Naples, along the gorgeous Gulf Coast.

Bonita Springs is known as the Gateway to the Gulf and it boasts white sugar sand beaches that will delight every member of your family. If you forgot your pails and shovels, just head to the the nearest souvenir shop and make your selection.

Bonita Springs was first called Survey and was prominent back when local plantations grew bananas, coconuts and pineapples. When word got out that the area was also great for hunting and fishing, thousands more visitors started flocking in.

The name Bonita Springs refers to a local spring found along Highway 41. According to the natives of the area, the waters of this spring had special healing powers. Just about the time the Tamiami Trail was completed the name of the town was changed from Survey to Bonita Springs to give it more tourist appeal. Sure enough the town began to prosper as droves of people headed to the area from up north.

Attractions in the area include outstanding fishing, shell collecting, beautiful beaches, and of course the gorgeous weather. And if you are a golfer the Bonita Springs area has many outstanding golf courses, many of which have been designed by tour players and famous golf architects.

You’ll probably not want to leave Bonita Springs’ sunny skies, and warm hospitality. But when you do, you’ll have many great memories of your southwest Florida vacation to share with everyone back home.
