Even though Volcom are thought of as a surf wear brand, they are more of a urban streetwear clothes brand. They use similar creative processes that street artists use. For this reason you often find that their t-shirts feature graffiti designs that seem like they have been sprayed straight on to the shirt using spray paint.
The range of snowboard clothing is very popular among both snowboarders and fashion concious streetwear fan. This is not surprising as the idea of the brand came about whilst the 2 founders were on a snowboarding holiday. They produce a range of snowboarding jeans and jackets as well as accessories like goggles and gloves.
Paul Frank is a clothes label from Southern California. It was started by a art student called Paul Frank and his good friend Ryan. The brand is famous for its colourful characters that feature on the t-shirts. The most well known is Julius the monkey that is the face of the label. Paul Frank also produce accessories like toys, keyrings and bags that are inspired by vintage chic.
